St. John's College

聖約翰學院

St. John’s College is a co-educational residential college in the University of Hong Kong. It was founded in 1912 as the first hall in the University. Bearing the name of College, we emphasise the concept of “College is more than a hall”.

St. John's provides a platform for different talents to gather. By initiating events, engaging in various teams and subcommittees, taking up leadership roles, participating in open discussions, and other opportunities, St. Johnians learn to be open-minded, creative, reflective, and grow as future leaders in the society.

There is a strong sense of belonging in every St. Johnian. The life-long brotherhood and sisterhood between them are what make St. John's an exceptional place. Our alumni are very keen to give back to this community. The Alumni Association works closely with the Student Association, supporting young St. Johnians in their development, at the same time tightening the bonds between generations.
